De NPD Group heeft de Amerikaanse hard- en software verkoopcijfers van de maand april bekend gemaakt. De Nintendo platformen domineerde opnieuw, gevolgd door de Xbox 360 die maar net iets meer verkocht dan de PS3.
Op software gebied was Ubisofts nieuwe Splinter Cell: Conviction de winnaar. Opvallende afwezige waren de PS3-versie van Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City en 2010 FIFA World Cup. Van enkel de eerste 5 games werden specifieke cijfers vrijgegeven.
