Reggie Fils-Aime, directeur van Nintendo of America, heeft een reactie gegeven op de vraag waarom er zo weinig games zijn die een ondersteuning hebben voor de Wii MotionPlus.

MTV Multiplayer vroeg Fils-Aime waarom er zo weinig support is voor Nintendo’s add-on. Hij gaf daarop als antwoord dat er wel degelijk support is voor de MotionPlus, maar dat deze support niet zo massaal is doordat Nintendo ontwikkelaars niet dwingt te ontwikkelen met gebruik van MotionPlus:

Wii MotionPlus
De Wii MotionPlus is een accessoire voor de Nintendo Wii, welke onder de Wiimote wordt bevestigd en is uitgebracht in juni 2009. Deze add-on zorgt voor een betere doorgave van de bewegingen gemaakt met de Wiimote.
