Nintendo Amerika baas Reggie Fils-Aime heeft uitgehaald naar de motion strategieën van zowel Sony als Microsoft. Het doel van Nintendo is om constant innovatie op de markt te brengen en Reggie zou zich geschaamd hebben als ze zouden handelen zoals de concurrentie nu doet.
Klap in het gezicht
Reggie Fils-Aime vindt dat Sony met Move de Wii zo sterk imiteert, dat het een ‘klap in zijn gezicht’ was. Met het schaamrood op de wangen zag Reggie aan hoe Sony haar nieuwe motion controller op de GDC demonstreerde. Daarbij stelt Reggie zichzelf de vraag hoever Sony gaat komen als dit hun beste innovatie moet zijn in de gamesindustrie.
