Voormalig Team Ninja baas Tomonobu Itagaki heeft onthuld dat zijn nieuwe project tevens de grootste game is waaraan hij ooit heeft gewerkt in zijn carrière.
Valhalla
Itagaki heeft uitgever Tecmo Koei in februari verlaten en is zijn eigen studio genaamd Valhalla begonnen. Itagaki is bekend van Dead or Alive en Ninja Gaiden en hoopt met zijn nieuwe project wederom een sterke franchise neer te zetten. In een interview dat zijn nieuwste project tevens zijn grootste project ooit is. De game wordt wellicht onthuld op de E3 2010.
Nieuw project
Momenteel zijn ze bij Valhalla aan één project bezig. Het team bestaat maar uit 50 mensen en daarom vindt Itagaki het verstandig om maar aan één project tegelijk bezig te zijn. De concurrentie is namelijk erg groot.

I do plan on hiring even more skilled people, and although we’ve had job applications from many countries, we’re still thinking about the composition of the team. |
Tegen het eind van dit project zal de studio wel meteen overgaan naar een nieuw project. Op de lange termijn is natuurlijk handiger om aan meerdere projecten te werken.
