De Nintendo Wii verkoopt als een trein, hardcore Nintendo-fans voelen zich echter behoorlijk in de kou staan als het gaat om de games. Volgens Shigeru Miyamoto gaat dat dit jaar veranderen, want 2010 wordt een geweldig jaar voor de hardcore Nintendo fans.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
In een interview met CVG laat Miyamoto weten dat dit jaar onder andere Super Mario Galaxy 2, een nieuwe Legend of Zelda, die wordt getoond op de E3, en Pikmin in de planning staan. Volgens de Nintendo-goeroe wordt vooral Super Mario Galaxy 2 een bijzondere titel, waarbij je acties manipuleert met je eigen wil en bewegingen.

En verder
Miyamoto hoopt dat zoveel mogelijk mensen SMG2 ervaren. Verder vertelt hij dat hij geen aandeel had in Metriod Other M, maar dat het spel eraan komt. Met daarbij nog een nieuwe Zelda en Pikmin hoopt Miyamoto dat de hardcore gamers van nu tot volgend jaar tevreden zullen zijn.
